In the absolute conviction that the Internet should be an environment available and accessible to all, our organisation is currently working to make our website usable by an ever-widening public. With this partial declaration we intend to provide more details on the current state of conformity of our website to the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard.

LUDOVICO MARTELLI S.p.A undertakes to make its website https://tenaxpomade.com/ accessible, in accordance with Law no. 4 of 9 January 2004.

This declaration of accessibility applies to the website http://tenaxpomade.com. The assessment was carried out by a third party by means of objective and subjective analysis (see Article 3(1) of EU Implementing Decision 2018/1523 of the Commission).

 

Status of compliance

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of Appendix A of UNI CEI EN 301 549 due to the cases of non-compliance listed below. It is specified that the Company does not fall within the scope of applicability of the Stanca Law of 9 January 2004 and that the aforementioned declaration is drawn up on a voluntary basis. Therefore, the Company undertakes to make the non-accessible contents compliant with the reference legislation.

Work is in progress and the following has already been carried out:

Resizing of repetitive UI elements
Increasing the clickable area of buttons and links in the template to facilitate interaction from touch devices and with reduced precision pointers.

Alternative descriptions for images and links
Inclusion in the template code of values for alt/title attributes on link tags (<a>).

However, compliance is partial and due to the presence of some content not yet accessible, which will be listed below.

 

Non-accessible content

The following parts of the website are not yet fully accessible for the reasons given below:

Non-compliance:

  • Links without title attribute or insufficient description. Some links lack the title value or have inadequate labels;
  • Non-compliant contrast ratio. Text and icons on light/dark backgrounds with contrast below the minimum 4.5:1 required by WCAG 2.1 AA;
  • Text resizing. Text resizing is bound by the restrictions defined in the site style file.
  • Form fields do not include autocomplete attributes.
  • Contact form elements. some contact form elements do not have the corresponding labels, which have been replaced by placeholders.
  • Documents not fully accessible. Some PDF files are not fully accessible
  • Flow recalculation: By increasing the browser display settings up to 200%, some contents do not reshape correctly.

Content not subject to regulation:

  • Iubenda script injecting non-compliant and non-editable content.

The organisation formally commits to continue to pursue full compliance through the following plan:

Action steps:

  • Self-analysis through specific scan tool Siteimprove Accessibility checker (completed)
  • Correction of some issues found through the scan above and listed above (according to WCAG 2.1 AA as required by the aforementioned Standard)
  • Installation of a specially developed widget to optimise the use of the sites by users with disabilities (WayWidget by Iubenda/Acccesway) – Installation August 2025 at the same time as going online.
